Summer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern North Carolina has been an absolute blast! Our Summer Camp has been buzzing with laughter, energy, and excitement as kids have enjoyed a whirlwind of activities. From epic kickball tournaments that brought out the competitive spirit to a foam party that turned the field into a sea of bubbles, there’s been no shortage of fun-filled moments.
Our young adventurers also embraced the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship during the exhilarating Field Day events, leaving lasting memories etched in their hearts. The day consisted of many field day games, candy, face-painting, food, and lots of sun!
But the excitement doesn’t end there—our innovative and engaging learning programs continue to spark curiosity and creativity. In our graphic design class, kids are unleashing their imaginations, and crafting eye-catching designs that reflect their unique perspectives. So far this summer they have created flyers about themselves, billboards, and logos for the BGCA Teen STEM Summit.
Summer camp at the Boys & Girls Club is truly a place where kids can be themselves, explore their passions, and make lifelong friends. As Summer Camp Session one comes to an end, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store for these bright, talented, and spirited young minds!
